Jose Mourinho Unhappy with Manchester United’s ‘Sloppy’ Attack

Jose Mourinho once again came out with a public criticism of his Manchester United squad after watching his team only manage a 1-1 draw with Anderlecht in the Europa League.

This competition remains as the best opportunity for Manchester United to reach the Champions League group stages next season. However, the club lost a golden opportunity to go one step closer towards securing a place in the semifinals, as they could only get a 1-1 draw with the Belgian outfit. Ryan Giggs Confident Marcus Rashford Will End Goal Drought

Ryan Giggs is confident that striker Marcus Rashford will be able to end his goal drought sooner rather than later.

After coming through the ranks at United last season, Rashford quickly became one of the sensational names in the English Premier League. He burst onto the scene, after being a relative unknown, in the best possible manner after scoring in big games against the likes of Liverpool. He has not been able to make much of an impact, while playing on the wings has also significantly impacted his goal record. Rashford has not scored for United since the 4-1 win over Leicester City in the league in September. Continue reading Ryan Giggs Confident Marcus Rashford Will End Goal Drought

Mourinho has a particular way of managing his team, and he is sure going to transform the way Manchester United look at the moment. Fans should be prepared for a busy summer at Old Trafford.

The first thing that he will want to sort out will be his team. Manchester United do need a recognized striker at the moment, and it is highly possible that Jose Mourinho might be going for Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The latter is out of contract after having left Paris Saint-Germain and will be the kind of player that the Portuguese manager like. Indeed, he already managed Ibrahimovic at Inter Milan, and it is highly possible that they might be reunited again.

A decision will also have to be made about Ryan Giggs. The latter has been the assistant of Louis van Gaal, and it is unlikely that he will continue in the same role under Mourinho. He would feel that it was his destiny to take charge of Manchester United after the departure of Van Gaal and now that Mourinho might be taking over, it is tough to find Giggs staying.
