Barcelona forward Antoine Griezmann has once been linked with a move to Manchester United, according to various reports. The news of the interest making the rounds recently come after it was reported that La Liga giants Barcelona have reduced their asking price for the France international attacker to a more reasonable price.
Since his move to the Camp Nou from Atletico Madrid, Griezmann has not been the player he was at the Madrid club and is yet to replicate the form that saw the Catalan giants eager to snap him up as a big signing. He made the switch back in the summer transfer window of 2019 and due to his inability to fully win over the hearts of Barcelona fans and the board, he may well be leaving the club after spending just two years there.

Speaking after the game, Ole acknowledged that the result was very disappointing and the performance is probably the worst by the team under his interim management, he said: “It was very disappointing. All in all, they deserved to win because they had the better of the chances. Yes, we dominated possession but we never really felt in control and I never really felt that we put them under pressure. It seemed like they were happy with how the game went in the first half and then, of course, it’s disappointing giving easy goals away. What was missing? Quite a lot actually. Today was the poorest performance we’ve had.”
He said that this will definitely affect his pre-season and that there is no doubt that Manchester United might suffer at the start of the season.
